Lead QA Engineer

The international IT company Andersen invites a Lead QA Engineer to work on a large-scale project for one of our USA customers.

The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s airlines. The network consists of major airlines that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of merchants around the world for air, rail, cruise and travel agency payments.

The project is the development of a corporate travel payment network, integrating systems like PayPal, Visa, and MasterCard to enable secure, seamless, and efficient financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, maintaining, and executing functional, exploratory, and regression test cases for UI, APIs, databases, and end-to-end workflows.
• Performing smoke and sanity testing before releases.
• Working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve product quality.
• Logging, tracking, and verifying defects, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution.
• Maintaining clear and structured test documentation.
• Actively contributing to knowledge sharing, QA process improvement, and cross-team alignment.
• Staying up to date with QA trends and tools, especially in the payments domain.

Must-haves:

• FinTech domain experience.
• Experience in manual testing for web applications for 5+ years.
• Experience as a Tech Lead for 2+ years.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data validation and investigation.
• Solid experience in API testing, including system integrations.
• Confident use of tools such as TestRail, Jira, QMetry, Postman, Swagger.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile practices.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Understanding of payment systems or financial workflows.
