Middle Frontend developer

For over 13 years, we have been providing IT services to our clients - large international media companies and startups in healthcare, education and e-commerce. Most of our clients are from the USA and Canada.

We are looking for a Middle Frontend Developer to join our team on a long-term project. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of proven IT experience and a confident command of English (B2 and higher).

About the project:

We are inviting a developer to join an established team working on a long-term project for a media company specializing in cybersecurity information resources. The client’s mission is to enhance community awareness through articles, research, podcasts, and thematic events such as online and offline conferences, summits, and webinars.

Our team has been developing this project since 2019. During this time, we have built a multi-site platform from scratch and migrated existing online resources. Since then, our main goal has been to continuously improve the platform - making it more flexible and maintainable while integrating new websites.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement React.js front-end solutions within the existing multi-site system built on WordPress.
• Support development processes - write clean, maintainable code following best practices, participate in code reviews, and complete assigned tasks in sprints.
• Engage in gathering requirements from business users, creative teams, and editorial staff.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance development processes and best practices.
• Actively participate in team meetings, including regular calls, planning sessions, and retrospectives.

• NX workspace
• Next.js
• React.js
• TypeScript
• GraphQL
• Modular Sass with a custom Bootstrap build for styling
• Storybook + Jest for testing
• SWC compiler
• Auth0 as an identity provider for a custom SSO solution
  

Requirements:

• English proficiency of at least B2 (both spoken and written)
• Familiarity with our technology stack
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in sprints
• Strong communication skills and a desire to be part of a team
• Ability to learn quickly and apply analytical skills in a fast-changing Agile development environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with software developers, QA specialists, project managers, and business users are essential.
